Another Fantasy Game: Foresight Fantasy

Welcome to the game of games! No, not Chardee MacDennis, the budding board game of the future from "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia." I'm talking about the fantasy football line of games. This game is called: Foresight Fantasy.

In Foresight Fantasy (4SF), you have all the power and the pressure to predict between the status quo and the longshot. Picking the status quo won’t get you much street cred or many bragging rights, nor will it give you more points if you predict correctly. For example, choosing the Lions to win the NFC North will gain you more points than choosing the Packers to.

This game forces you to think about the best way to score more points than the other competitors and it allows you to watch all aspects of each NFL game. It also pushes each competitor to be engaged in the entire season, all of the teams, and all of the players because it all affects their point total at the end of the season.

In layman's terms, it's a mix between daily fantasy, ESPN's Streak for the Cash, and regular fantasy football.

Last season, five of our own Threat Level Midnight League members were involved with 4SF and our lovely co-commissioner Zack won $50 for his second-place finish. The others involved were Reagan, Corey, Bryce, and Austin H.

If you are interested in joining this awesome prediction fantasy league, you will be sent the rules, the format of everything, and the Pick Sheet. The Pick Sheet is an Excel spreadsheet that you fill out. You will choose the standings, statistical leaders, award winners, playoff finishes, weekly and monthly questions pertaining to the games, and potentially win money. Cold. Hard. Bones.

It was free to join last year and was a hit success. The winner won $100, second place won $50, and third won $25. This year, those that were involved in last season's game voted to up the entry fee to $10 so that the winner can win more cash.

If you are interested, comment below, and the 4SF creator will reach out to you.
