Week 9 Recap
Tom keeps the highest scoring individual week with his 176.50 point performance in Week 5, led by 54.30 from Lamar Jackson. The Week 9 high-scorer was Tom with 159.99.
Austin Gregory Heeres disrespected fantasy football with the worst fantasy week I have ever seen with 34.15 points in week 7. If this is broken, the person scoring under 34 needs to be kicked out of the league. The Week 9 low scorer was former Champ Austin Bettis, with 57.90 points. What a fall.
Closest win goes to David, who may have sealed Reagan’s fate 96.50 to 93.20 in a bad football game. Remember, Reagan was trying this year and thought he was a clear top-3 team. Whoops. The largest margin of victory was Tom beating AB by over 100 with 159.00 to 57.90.
The playoff group is starting to take shape, as there are 3 teams that are 5-4 and 3 teams 6-3. Reagan, John, and AB would need to make up two games on two out of three 5-4 teams, as well as make up a significant amount of points.
Most Points: Zack 1216.80 points, Corey 1200.50 points, and Zeke 1182.20 points. The points are close, but a 3 game lead over both Zeke and Corey has Zack looking good for the top seed.
Zeke has blown a Taco Week. Credit to Heery for actually putting together a very good week, as he put up a blazing 141.75 points led by Herbert (39.20), Elijah Moore (23.90), Pat Freiermuth (18.80), and Devonta Freeman (15.30). What a squad. Zeke’s team also assumed an easy win and didn’t show up.
Least Points: Heery 815.95 points. The 141.75 points were a welcome change, but he’s still behind Jordan by 75 points. Can Heery hold this one game lead over Jordan?
Bettis Defense: All good things must come to an end, with Tom being the highest scorer against AB’s daunting defense this week putting up 159.00. AB is still the only team who hasn’t had 1,000 points scored against him with only 946.00 points.
Congrats to Bryce and John for their Taco Weeks this week! Will John be the next team to
blow his Taco Week and give Jordan a win??
Biggest game on the Week 10 slate is between Corey and Zeke, with both fighting for the 2-seed in the playoffs.
Fun Fact: Reagan/Andrew/Baj now has the worst career team in league history, with a 26-48 career record (Reagan record is 15-33). I gotta lay off him a bit. He is a full 2 games behind Corey (28-46) and that distance is W I D E N I N G.
